Imager Home Page, accessible through a web browser, enables the user or administrator to manage key device functions, such as Scanning, Faxing, R.E.D, as well as device status and network configuration verification. Admin functions are password protected.

Remote Email Diagnostic (R.E.D.) enables key operators, network administrator as well as the Sharp Authorized Resellers to automatically receive specific device notifications, thereby greatly streamlining device monitoring and reducing many of the hidden costs associated with device maintenance, including automated click count collection. The emails can be scheduled (e.g. click count) as well as event driven (e.g. out of toner). And with Sharp Device Manager, the authorized Sharp Service Provider is able to automatically import R.E.D. total meter reads into their ERP system, such as OMD. This streamlines the meter read collection process as well as practically eliminating any discrepancies caused by inadvertent data collection or entry errors.

For those companies that deploy either Computer Associates' Unicenter® or IBM-Tivoli's Netview® products, Sharp offers integration modules for these frameworks that enable them to monitor a wide variety of Sharp devices. Selected Sharp printers and MFPs have earned the ca smart¿ and/or Ready for Tivoli¿ designation.
